Recognition Opportunities

Every gift to UBC is appreciated and makes a difference for our students and programs. All donors are recognized with a thank you letter, along with a receipt for the donation to use for tax purposes.

Named opportunities include student scholarships, bursaries, and other awards; lecture series; Chairs and Professorships; and physical space. Other recognition opportunities include donor listings in publications or on plaques as well as invitations to special events.

Wesbrook Society

The Wesbrook Society honours donors who contribute $1,000 to $24,999 annually, and is named after UBC’s first President.

Chancellor’s Circle

The Chancellor’s Circle honours donors who have made lifetime contributions of $25,000 to $249,999.

President’s Circle

The President’s Circle honours donors who have made lifetime contributions of $250,000 and above.

Heritage Circle

The Heritage Circle honours donors who have arranged a future gift for the University (for example, a gift in the donor’s will, a gift of life insurance, or charitable trust).
