The Legacy of a Well-Loved Instructor

When Lynn Trottier passed away in 2006, a colleague commented that she “was an absolute joy to work with and had a very positive impact on the quality of continuing pharmacy education offerings throughout the province.” Lynn practiced clinical pharmacy for thirty years, and developed expertise in pharmacotherapy in the geriatric population. In memory of this well-loved instructor and alumna, friends and family established the Lynn Trottier Memorial Geriatrics Prize at UBC in 2007. This prize will create a lasting legacy in Lynn’s name, and benefit the students she loved so much.
