The William and Nona Heaslip Leadership Award will support two students entering their 2nd year at UBC’s Faculty of Arts. Established with a $660,000 pledge from Nona Heaslip and her late husband, Bill, the awards, renewable for an additional two years, are relieving financial burdens and providing recognition for students who are working hard to succeed and make a difference in the lives of others. Inaugural recipient Zoe Green wrote: “I cannot convey the extent to which you [Nona] have changed my life – thank you for the opportunity to excel.”
