This scholarship honours Dr. Chad Bennington, Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, who passed away suddenly on February 14, 2010.
Your gift will honour Chad’s personal and professional accomplishments as an esteemed researcher, inspiring teacher, valued colleague, and beloved friend. In particular, your gift will celebrate his acclaimed role within the pulp and paper industry, the mixing community, and the academic community, within BC and internationally.
Donations will go towards an endowment to support a scholarship to undergraduate students at UBC who demonstrate interest, leadership, and academic accomplishment in pulp and paper technology.
