Drawing on solid research and teaching, robust partnerships with the business community, and unmatched global connections, the Sauder School of Business has built a strong reputation as a uniquely innovative and progressive learning environment poised to make a significant contribution on the international stage.
In its 50-year history, the School (formerly known as the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration and re-named in 2003 in honour of a $20 million gift from BC forest industry leader Dr. William L. Sauder, BCom 1948) has developed into a trusted and influential partner of the business community, bringing together outstanding researchers, teachers, and students to address the needs of business and industry, and providing invaluable resources to businesses across the country.
The Sauder School of Business is Canada’s leading research-based business school and an internationally recognized leader in knowledge creation. For over ten years, our faculty members have attracted more research grants from federal granting agencies and have had more research publications and business citations than faculty members at any other business school in Canada.
